These paintings are all inspired by the natural world.
Living near the coast, inspiration is all around. Often when walking on the beach, the effect of sunlight on shells produces fascinating colours and shapes. The hardest thing is training yourself to see them, as the whole effect may be no more than a few centimetres in size.
